Same issue. Played last night for 6 hours, saved the game and quit. Loaded it up this morning and it first asks to adjust the gamma, then I went to load my saved game and I only have the option for new game. However, when I start the new game, my zombie kill count, unlocks, special moves and combo cards have all carried over.

So, it’s like it saved my player stats but not my actual progress through the story mode. Also, I am now getting crash to desktop within a few minutes of starting the game. I tried verifying the data in steam and it showed no issues. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the game, same issue.
